Photo Collage Maker

Combine several photos into a single grid collage with adjustable columns and gap spacing. Drop as many images as you like, pick the column count, and the tool auto-arranges them into a tidy composition at the resolution you choose. Every image is scaled proportionally so the grid rows stay consistent, and the full collage downloads as a single JPG or PNG.

How to build a photo collage

  1. Drop all the photos you want in the collage, or click to select a batch. Order follows the order you upload.
  2. Pick the number of columns. Two columns work for pairs, three for balanced grids, six for dense mosaics.
  3. Adjust the gap between images. A 4-8 pixel gap gives a magazine feel; 0 produces a continuous wall.
  4. Download the finished collage as a single image file, ready to share or upload.

Common use cases

  • Putting together a travel recap for social media that shows 6-12 photos as a single Instagram-worthy image.
  • Making before/after comparisons of renovations, makeovers or fitness progress in a two-column grid.
  • Building product mosaics for newsletters and blog headers where a single hero image is not enough.
  • Preparing event recap cards that gather the best shots from a shoot into a shareable summary image.

Frequently asked questions

Can I mix portrait and landscape photos?

You can, but rows will not line up perfectly when aspect ratios differ. For the cleanest grid, crop all sources to the same aspect ratio first using the aspect-ratio-crop tool.

How many photos can I add?

There is no hard limit. Very large collages become huge PNGs that may be rejected by platforms with file-size caps — keep total pixel count reasonable (10 MP or less) for social media uploads.

Can I reorder photos after uploading?

Order follows the upload sequence. To reorder, re-upload the batch in the order you want them to appear, or crop and rearrange before uploading.

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. The grid is composed on the browser Canvas locally. Your photos never leave your device.

About photo collages

A photo collage arranges multiple images in a single composition, usually a grid, so they can be shared as one unit. Common uses include travel recaps, before-and-after montages, event highlights and product grids. The grid layout works best when all photos share a similar aspect ratio — mixing portrait and landscape shots in the same row often leaves awkward gaps, so lightly trim sources before building the collage.
